WHAT'S EXIN
EXIN dancing from the source / EXIN is a movement that brings us to a common space / EXIN is a way out into the world we share / EXIN is an organization committed to dance that creates freedom, curiosity and community.
Our main focus is to offer today's creators opportunities to share and deepen their works. We promote dance immersion on an extensive and intensive basis with masters who have originated their own techniques or methods. We approach contemporary possibilities with a thirst for the source.
We believe in all different possibilities of dance languages. Our aim is to bring these masters to you. That's our history until now:
EXIN was born in 2014. We organized the first edition in Germany inviting David Zambrano. Since then we organized two more editions with him (Spain, 2016) and (Greece, 2018).
We had same EXIN format with Rhizome Lee (Butoh Master who developed the Subbody Resonance Butoh Method) in 2015 and 2016.
First EXIN with Sara Shelton Mann in Girona (Spain) and Alma Negra Butoh Festival (Portugal) all in 2018.
In 2019 we had Meg Stuart and Mark Tompkins (Burdag Studio, Poland) 2 intensive weeks in July, and 3 weeks with Edivaldo Ernesto (Tarragona, Spain) in August as EXIN teachers.
In 2020 we organized in March the first EXIN PASSING THROUGH BY4 with four excellent teachers of this technique. Milan Herich, Peter Jasko, Horacio Macuacua and Edivaldo Ernesto.
Also in August 2020 we will organize in Arlequi, Spain our own first EXIN. An improvisation movement workshop with Diana Bonilla, Jonathan Martineau and Rafa Jagat.
